STANDARD  SCHNAUZERS
A TRIBUTE TO JACK, "MISTAR HONDA"
''MISTAR HONDA''   (JACK)
1/15/1999---8/11/2000
This was "Mistar Honda" or Jack my 1st Standard Schnauzer.   I started into the world of dog shows with Jack, Standards are such fun companions.  Jack was also the most challenging puppy I have ever had, he was a typical Standard Schnauzer he was stubborn, comical, very smart, and he was always game for anything.  He was special and should not have died so young nor suffered the last two weeks, so It would not be right without this little tribute to him.  Jack died at 18 months of age  of DCM, "dilated cardio myopathy"  in laymens terms an enlarged heart. DCM is thought to be genetic but there are no test for it until it is too late.  Jack was diagnosed through ultrasound, a week after he collapsed playing in the back yard.   Minutes after his diagnosis as he lay in my arms, I had no choice put to put him out of his misery.
Jack loved life and will forever be in my heart.
